Breaking every chain! Exploring the role of faith communities in criminal justice reform

20 August 2014 Published in Past Events

breaking-the-chainSaturday, Sept 6, 9am - 11am, Calvary Baptist Church 1090 S. State St., SLC.

Are you impacted by interactions with the police, criminal activity, drug & alcohol influences, time spent in jail?

Do you struggle to help nurture young people away from drugs, alcohol and criminal influences, or to welcome family members back after time behind bars?

Calvary Baptist Church, the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake and the Utah Prisoners’ Advocate Network invite you to join us for a free breakfast and opportunity to discuss how communities of faith, can better respond to the needs of our congregations as related to criminal justice concerns. This is a great event for pastors, bishops, youth group leaders, prison ministry volunteers, curious and caring church-goers, and anyone who is impacted by these issues.

Saturday, Sept 6, 9am - 11am, Calvary Baptist Church 1090 S. State St., SLC
