Breaking Every Chain! Exploring the Role of Faith Communities in Criminal Justice Reform

19 November 2014 Published in Past Events

Upcoming Breaking Every Chain EvemtsSaturday, December 6, 9:00 - 11:00 AM, Provo Public Library, 550 N University Ave

How are families in your congregation impacted by interactions with the police, criminal activity, drug & alcohol influences, time spent in jail?

Do you struggle to help nurture members away from drugs, alcohol and criminal influences, or to welcome them back after time behind bars?

Calvary Baptist Church, the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake, Journey of Hope and the Utah Prisoners’ Advocate Network invite you to join us for a free breakfast and opportunity to discuss how we, as communities of faith, can better respond to the needs of our congregations as related to criminal justice concerns.

This is a great event for pastors, bishops, youth group leaders, prison ministry volunteers, curious and caring church-goers, and anyone who is impacted by these issues!
