Community Mediation Center: This non-profit center offers mediation services for all types of conflict, including divorce, employment, business, consumer, and debt. Salt Lake City
Family Law Clinic: Held on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the Scott Matheson Courthouse, 450 South State Street, Room W-19. No appointment necessary. Must be present at 6:00 p.m. Family law questions only.

Street Law: A project initiated by Utah Legal Services and assisted by volunteer students from the University of Utah’s law school. This program assist with a variety of issues, ranging from filling out small claims and wage forms to legal consultations on many subjects. The program includes the following locations:
  • Guadalupe School: 340 South 1040 West (Goshen Street) Tuesdays, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Spanish-speaking interpreter is almost always available.
  • St Vincent’s: 437 West 200 South. Thursdays from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. No appointment necessary.
  • Fourth Street Viaduct: Held outdoors under the Fourth Street Viaduct, 500 South between 600 and 700 West. Sundays from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday Night Bar: Every Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Utah State Bar, 645 South 200 East. Offers personnel consultations with attorneys. By appointment only. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (801) 297-7037 on Monday, eight days before the requested appointment.
