Resource and Intake Form for Jail Complaints
The ACLU of Utah and Complaints about Conditions and Practices at Utah’s Jails is a resource for convicted inmates and pretrial detainees who have complaints about conditions and practices in Utah’s jails. The document outlines people’s rights in jail, explains why it is important to file a formal grievance with the jail, and includes a form that individuals can fill out and return to the ACLU of Utah if they are not satisfied with the jail’s response (or lack of response) to their grievance.
