Youth Leadership and Activism Conference
High school students:
- Develop skills and increase competency in leadership and activism
- Encourage critical thinking on issues regarding systemic oppression
- Develop plans for affecting change
- Understand different approaches to policy reform
- Create actionable strategies to bring awareness to the school-to-prison pipeline
Session topics include: Media & messaging; advocating in schools; critical thinking for affecting change; environmental factors in advocacy; civic engagement; and more!

This event is FREE and open to all High school students - light breakfast and lunch provided.
Registration required. (Registration closes February 3, 2016.)
