THIS IS A FREE EVENT OPEN TO ACLU OF UTAH MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS!
We will have quick presentations on ACLU finances and legal, legislative, and policy work by Board and staff members. Then, we will feature a panel discussion with local Utah organizers and advocates on the landscape of activism since the November 2016 election.
Speakers include:
- Archie Archuleta, Chicano activist and civil rights advocate
- Andrea Himoff, Executive Director of Action Utah
- Sharlee Mullins Glenn, Founder of Mormon Women for Ethical Government
- Lex Scott, Founder of United Front and Organizer with Black Lives Matter
- James Singer, Co-Founder of Utah League of Native American Voters.
This discussion will be moderated by María del Mar González, Community Outreach Fellow of ACLU of Utah.
