Students' Rights: Speech, Walkouts, and Other Protests
Students around the country are transforming the recent school shooting into an inspiring push for change. Plans for coordinated, nationwide student walkouts on Wednesday, March 14, are making national news and have spurred disciplinary threats from some school administrators.
We know that many Utah students are preparing to participate in these coordinated walkouts during school time.
It’s critically important that students and their allies learn about their right to speak freely and to protest. Join us next Monday for a Facebook Live interactive presentation & discussion.
