This fall, Utah State University will begin a six-part, virtual celebration of voting rights and a discussion about challenges facing United States democracy today. The public symposium commemorates both the centennial of women’s suffrage nationally and the 1965 Voting Rights Acts.
On October 22, ACLU of Utah Legal Director John Mejia will participate in a round-table discussion on Utah's role in the national debate over voting rights. The event is free and open to the public.
