If you've followed recent events in the local news, you know we've had a big year for civil liberties victories! Please join us for our Membership Meeting on Wednesday, November 12 at 5:30 p.m., to share the excitement and find out how you can become more involved!

We thrive on your commitment and involvement to protect civil liberties in Utah and together we have had some tremendous successes through our legal and legislative actions including:

• Helping achieve the freedom to marry for all people in Utah!
• Successfully fighting Utah’s “Show Me Your Papers” law, HB 497, a severe anti-immigrant law that threatened the basic civil rights of all Utahns.
• Lobbying for the first Utah Election Day Voter Registration Pilot Program allowing voters in five counties, representing more then 74% of Utahns, to register and cast a ballot on Election Day.
