The ACLU of Utah was saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Iqbal Hossain on November 16.
Dr. Hossain was a valued member of the ACLU of Utah Board of Directors for many years. During that time, he helped to facilitate lasting relationships between the ACLU of Utah and Utah's Muslim community. Always a gentleman and always of service to others, Dr. Hossain will be deeply missed by his friends and colleagues at the ACLU.

To honor his life, work and service, we encourage our supporters to partake in the many opportunities to build bridges with the Muslim community in Utah at this time. Several local mosques are hosting regular open houses, to engender religious understanding and tolerance, such as these Friday evening gatherings in Sandy.
