Today, a federal judge ordered the state of Utah to respect the more than 1,000 same-sex couples who legally married after the December decision that struck down our state’s marriage ban. 

Today, Utah's married same-sex couples are closer than ever to being afforded the protections and respect only marriage can provide. The ruling is not immediate, however, as the court issued a 21 day stay for the state to respond.
