The ACLU of Utah, Disability Law Center, and Utah Prisoner Advocate Network are hosting a vigil for incarcerated individuals facing hardships and medical issues due to the recent move to the new $1 billion prison in Salt Lake City.
A Time to Share
This event is NOT a rally/protest.
The purpose of this event is for incarcerated individuals' families and friends to share their stories and support each other. For anyone who doesn't feel comfortable publicly speaking, we will also have speakers on hand who can read out anonymous letters or stories.
We must unite in solidarity around the idea of "People, not Prisons".
