Haley joined the ACLU as Director of Finance and Administration in July of 2021. Previously she worked for KRCL Community Radio as the Membership and Operations director. She has had a diverse and wide-ranging career in the nonprofit world having worked previously for the Domestic Violence Center of Cleveland, Second Harvest Food Bank, the United Way, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as well as completing graduate studies in evolutionary palaeoentomology.
She grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and earned a B.A. with distinction in world religions and sociology from McGill University in Montréal, Quebec. She is currently a student in the MPA program at the University of Utah where she focuses on nonprofit financial and strategic management. She is the recipient of the Reed K. and Irene L. Clegg Memorial Fellowship in recognition of academic excellence and devotion to public service. She lives in Salt Lake City, with her partner and their elderly cat.
