Women’s Rights

Today, gender bias continues to create huge barriers for many women. Ongoing struggles include ensuring equal economic opportunities, educational equity, and an end to gender-based violence. 

The ACLU of Utah is part of the Utah Women's Coalition (UWC), a statewide, nonpartisan coalition made up of individuals, nonprofit organizations, women's groups, medical professionals, and policymakers working to advance the status of women in Utah. UWC seeks to foster collaborative partnerships to address a broad range of women's issues, including pay equity, women's health, family planning, affordable child care, and equal representation in all fields.
