—We applaud Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County’s lawsuit that demands the Trump Administration follow the law in its attempt to convert a Salt Lake City warehouse into a mega immigration detention facility.
The rushed process that disregarded legal requirements is yet another example of this administration’s cruel efforts to supercharge a mass detention and deportation agenda. We support our local officials and community members who continue to fight to ensure that all Utahns are safeguarded from unlawful federal actions.
