Transgender Rights Strategist and Organizer

Bio

Nick joined the ACLU of Utah’s team in November 2022 as the Organizer and Transgender Rights Strategist.

Nick is a fat, queer, transmasculine, nonbinary, neurodivergent person of color. They have volunteered countless hours to the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities they belong to, including co-founding Unidxs, highlighting the intersection of Latinx and queerness through educational and social events focusing on community building. Nick serves as Board Chair of the SafeZone Foundation and an educator and trainer.

He is a proud guncle (gay uncle) of 11 niblings (a gender-neutral term for nieces and nephews) and a loving dad to a beautiful black and white tuxedo cat, Milly. Nick enjoys live music, eating vegan food, spending time outdoors, and soaking up the sun!
