Immigrants' Rights
The ACLU has been one of the nation's leading advocates for the rights of immigrants, refugees, and non-citizens, challenging unconstitutional laws and practices and countering the myths upon which many of these laws are based. The fundamental constitutional protections of due process and equal protection embodied in our Constitution and Bill of Rights apply to every person and are not limited to citizens.
